We are now back into "lockdown" from 5th November in England and the government is advising against uneccessary travel. "In general, you must not meet people socially. However, you can exercise or meet in a public, outdoors space with people you live with, your support bubble (or as part of a childcare bubble), or with one other person. You should minimise time spent outside your home. When around other people, stay 2 metres apart from anyone not in your household - meaning the people you live with - or your support bubble. Edale Car Park Temporary Closure (Take 2!)
Edale's main car park will be closed for approximately 1 week from Monday 2nd November 2020 for resurfacing works. If the work continues into the weekend of 7th/8th November there will be very little parking available in the village.

Road Closure
The road between Edale and Hope is closed between 26th and 30th October due to maintenance on the railway bridge crossing the road near Normans Farm. Access to Edale is only possible via Mam Nick until the works are completed. Further details are available here: https://one.network/?tm=118941188

Edale Car Park Resurfacing Postponed
The planned closure of Edale car park from 13th October 2020 for 1 week to allow resurfacing has been postponed. The car park will remain open until a new date for resurfacing is scheduled.
