Since the lockdown restrictions have been eased it’s been lovely to see visitors returning to Edale. Please be respectful though of those of us that live and work here so that we can protect our community.

  • Maintain social distancing (2m+)
  • Please take your litter home or bin it (including dog waste!)
  • Please be aware of the fire risk which is HIGH
  • Park responsibly
  • Keep dogs under control

The following are OPEN:

  • Main village car park
  • Public toilets (in the village car park)
  • Penny Pot Cafe (takeaway only)
  • Edale Church

The following are CLOSED:

  • The Rambler Inn
  • The Old Nags Head
  • Coopers Cafe and Coopers Chippy
  • All campsites (Newfold Farm, Upper Booth, Fieldhead, Waterside)

Please remember the law and common courtesy for wild camping:

  • You must have the landowners permission
  • Leave no trace! If you brought it with you, take it back
  • Arrive just before sunset, depart just after sunrise
  • Be out of sight
  • No fires or BBQs
