Edale has its very own primary school providing education for children aged 4-11; it’s one of the smallest schools in the country with a maximum capacity of only 40 pupils! The school is Church of England (voluntary controlled) and is linked to the village’s church.
The school is in a federation with nearby Hope Primary School where staff and resources are shared between the two schools. The school also has its own fundraising group, Friends of Edale School which raises funds to support the pupils at school and runs the ever popular Edale Country Day in June each year.
