BR Standard Class 7 70000 Britannia is due to steam through Edale tomorrow (Saturday 22nd August) on its way from Manchester Victoria to York. The train is a chartered excursion through Saphos Trains and should be passing through Edale at approximately 1125.

There are many good vantage points throughout the valley but expect them to be busy, particularly the station platform and the bridges over the railway line. Wherever you decide to spectate from please park responsibly, maintain social distancing and, most importanly, stay safe around the railway particularly with children.
